Nice detour
I’m sure that car rental rotorua must be becoming one of the busiest offices in the country, especially now that they have international flights landing there. We were actually heading to Taupo but could not get a flight there, so we figured we could just head to Rotorua and then drive across. It wasn’t really a big deal at all as we had plenty of time on this trip and if anything we quite liked the idea of having a look around there first. We would have had to get a car in Taupo anyway so it made very little difference to us.
