Kindle Reader Benefits From Celebrity Endorsements

Apart from the fact that it is a very nice piece of kit with several innovative features, the Amazon kindle reader has managed to benefit from a number of celebrity endorsements along the way. Something which no other e-book reader seems to have achieved to date. For example, way back in 2008, when Oprah Winfrey told her prime time audience that the Kindle (at that time the original Kindle) was her “new favorite gadget” it was a huge boost for the Kindle. Not just an endorsement from a huge celebrity - but a huge celebrity with her own “book of the month” club.
