When given a choice you may initially think your pet would prefer to sleep in a spacious bed. For many dogs this is not true. Leading dog trainers actually recommend providing dogs that are prone to anxiety or nervousness a small dog bed that has sides on it so they can cocoon themselves inside and feel a sense of security. If you push the small dog bed into a corner of the room, you may find that it gives them a perfect place to unwind and that it will reduce tension in your dog. A small dog bed can be purchased for every room in your home and can also discourage a pet from jumping up on furniture.
