Harsh Realities Of Life
10 March 2012
Sam Ahmed believed from infancy that nobody can be protected from the harsh realities of life. He thought about his dog, his cat, and how adversity can sometime make cats; or rather, force the cats to sleep on dog car seat covers, especially on days when the dogs are not present in their favorite positions. He believed that even in his humble upbringing, a man of his temperament can have his life journey jammed with many annoying situations and minor fluctuations which are not becoming for a person who desired to wade through life in the gentlest manner. On a cold December morning, three years ago, he had lost his first pet, an Alsatian. They had gone for a walk that they and armed bandits met him on the way, on that part of town which always appear to lend itself to an unusual silence. He managed to fight his through, but his dog was nowhere to be found.
