Music Downloads MP3 Update- Online Price Fixing
It seems as though those good ole major label record companies are up to their tircks once again. Apparently, many of the big dogs will be facing charges relating to online price fixing according to a recent Appeals Court order. Why they have to try and ruin the music downloads mp3 business just as they had destroyed the traditional music business model is anyone’s guess. Universal, Sony, BMG, Warner, and EMI, among others will be facing the charges. The court ruled that there was enough factual matter to suggest that an agreement was made between the companies as to the percentage cuts they receive for digital distribution. Way to go again boys.
